IMPORTANT - HAND TOOLS ONLY A 1/16" Pilot hole of correct depth is REQUIRED (3/8"). DON'T attempt to install into existing holes without cleaning with a 1/16" drill bit first. DO NOT FORCE OR OVER TIGHTEN. These screws will not self drill. They WILL break. The recommendation of virtually all screw suppliers is that for a #2 wood screw, a 1/16" diameter pilot hole is REQUIRED. Do your homework to prevent expensive issues.
