Description

Takamine CTF-2N FPT Guitar Mount Type Pickup Preamplifier for Acoustic Guitar Description Condition: New In the late 1970s, Takamine was the first in the world to develop rare cores, which quickly became a well-known guitar brand around the world with tremendous support from American West Coast-ro musicians. In 2022, the 60th anniversary of the company's founding, the CTF-2N is a modern re-make of the “Brown Preamplifier” installed in early Eleaco guitars under the theme of going back to the basics. While retaining the warm sound characteristics of the original model due to the unique saturation effect of the circuit using FET elements, the CTF-2N is also equipped with a tuner with auto-off function and notch filter to suit the modern playback environment. In addition to the two-band control of the low-frequency active EQ and high-cut filter, the notch filter can cut any frequency between 0Hz and 5KHz. The notch level switch can also be used as a mid-cut EQ by switching from -6dB to -12dB. Please experience the sound of the CTF-2N, which conveys the origin of the Eleaco to the present day.
